Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for distillation of a natural language processing model. An example method includes receiving, by communications circuitry, a set of text data comprising a set of observations and predicting, by processing circuitry and using the NLP model, classifications for each observation in the text data. The example method further includes generating, by model training engine, a balanced sampled data structure based on the predicted classifications for each observation in the text data and training, by the model training engine, a surrogate model using the balanced sampled data structure. The example method further includes identifying, by an interpreter and from the surrogate model, a set of most-influential tokens in the text data.

Abstract: An inspection system, a lithographic apparatus, and a method are provided. The inspection system includes an illumination system, an optical system, a shutter system, an objective system and a detector. The illumination system is configured to generate an illumination beam. The optical system is configured to split the illumination beam into a first sub-beam and a second sub-beam. The shutter system is configured to independently control a transmittance of the first sub-beam and the second subbeam. The objective system is configured to receive the first sub-beam and the second beam from the optical system and direct the first sub-beam and the second sub-beam towards a substrate having a target structure. Abstract: A model checking system detects violations and conflicts in security and verification policies by running model checking processes. The system detects privilege escalation attacks in misconfigured identification and access management (“IAM”) policies by modeling security policy documents and IAM actions as logical formulas and then running model checking on the model. The system translates non-Boolean variables, such as string variables, into Boolean variables in order to apply an SAT model checker. The model checker also determines whether a policy violation can be achieved in a finite number of steps by elevating privileges of some compromised principal over multiple iterations of the model checking process, or proves absence thereof.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for developing an optimized debt service strategy solution utilizing products across multiple product categories. An example method includes receiving, by communications hardware, a user dataset. The example method also includes processing, by surrogate modeling circuitry, the user dataset using a plurality of surrogate models. An integration time for each illumination shot of the sequential illumination shots is selected so to reduce a low frequency error.

Abstract: A method of authenticating a smart card for a mobile pay function of a mobile device using a smart card is disclosed. The method includes: offering, by a mobile pay circuit of the mobile device, a mobile pay function; receiving, by the mobile pay circuit, an affirmative user input to enable the mobile pay function; wirelessly receiving, by a contactless logic of the mobile device, an authentication code from a smart card, wherein the authentication code includes identifying customer information; automatically populating, by the mobile pay circuit, one or more fields of a graphical user interface provided by the mobile pay circuit with the received identifying customer information; authenticating, by the mobile pay circuit, the smart card using the authentication code; and, enabling, by the mobile pay circuit, the mobile pay function with the smart card upon authenticating the smart card.

Abstract: Systems and methods for constructing a layered artificial intelligence (AI) model are provided. The technology determines a set of layers and a set of variables for each layer for the AI model, with each layer relating to a specific domain context of the AI model. Using the layers, the AI model is trained to create layer-specific model logic for each layer using the variables of the layer. By applying the layer-specific model logic to incoming command sets, the model produces detailed layer-specific responses. The trained AI model then generates overall responses to command sets by aggregating the layer-specific responses, along with weights for each layer.

Abstract: A power-management system includes a power transistor coupled between a power supply and load, a driver circuit driving the power transistor in response to an input signal, and an error amplifier generating a control signal that modifies operation of the driver circuit based on a comparison between a selected reference voltage and a drain-to-source voltage of the power transistor. A multiplexer provides the selected reference voltage to the error amplifier and passes one of a plurality of different reference voltages as the selected reference voltage based upon first and second selection signals. A first selection circuit charges a first capacitor in response to the input signal and generates the first selection signal based on a first voltage across the first capacitor. A second selection circuit charges a second capacitor in response to the input signal and generates the second selection signal based on a second voltage across the second capacitor.

Abstract: A system and a method for allocating indivisible resources to agents over a finite horizon in a manner that balances resource utilization and fairness are provided. The method includes: receiving first information that relates to a number of agents included in a set of agents; receiving second information that relates to whether each respective agent is requesting an allocation of an indivisible resource during a particular allocation round; assigning, to each respective agent, a respective weight that relates to an importance of the respective agent; calculating, for each respective agent, a respective agent-specific allocation probability; and determining an allocation of the indivisible resource for the particular allocation round based on the agent-specific allocation probabilities. The determination of the allocation may be adjusted based on a budget that indicates an availability of the resource during the particular allocation round.
