  • Patent number: 10562090
Abstract: A method for controlling a superplastic forming machine for imprinting a shape on a sheet, the machine comprising: a cover; a vat; a press and a peripheral seal for gripping the sheet at its periphery and sealing a pressurized forming chamber delimited by the sheet; members for heating the sheet directly by radiation, these being arranged facing the sheet; a programmable controller. The method involves: determining an initial heating configuration; a finite-element simulation relating to the temperature of the sheet and performed in such a way as to have a temperature that is substantially consistent across the sheet and substantially constant during the course of the forming, in order to obtain a forming specification comprising at least a cycle of powering the heating members and a cycle of pressure in the forming chamber; programming the programmable controller according to the forming specification yielded by the previous simulation.

  • Patent number: 10565364
Abstract: Token management systems and methods are described. The token management systems and methods are configured to receive a plurality of tokens from a plurality of entities associated with a user and to enable the user to manage the tokens in a secure, convenient, efficient, and time-saving manner. The token management system may be accessed with a user device. In some arrangements, the token management system is structured to receive a registration request from a user, request a plurality of tokens from different entities where the user has associated tokens, and to provide various token management functions to the user. The token management functions allow the user to change, reassociate, activate, and deactivate the tokens, as well as create new tokens.

  • Patent number: 10567728
Abstract: A 3-D picture signal is provided as follows. An image and depth components having a depth map for the image are provided, the depth map includes depth indication values. A depth indication value relates to a particular portion of the image and indicates a distance between an object at least partially represented by that particular portion of the image and the viewer. The 3-D picture signal conveys the 3-D picture according to a 3D format having image frames encoding the image. Extra frames (D, D?) are encoded that provide the depth components and further data for use in rendering based on the image and the depth components. The extra frames are encoded using spatial and/or temporal subsampling of the depth components and the further data, while the extra frames are interleaved with the image frames in the signal in a Group of Pictures coding structure (GOP).

  • Patent number: 10561339
Abstract: A system is configured to perform capnometry/capnography, and/or other compositional analysis on a non-invasively ventilated subject. As such, the system determines amounts of a molecular species of gas (e.g., carbon dioxide, oxygen, etc.) excreted by the subject on a per-breath basis. Determinations of amounts of the molecular species of gas excreted are adjusted to reflect amounts of the molecular species of gas leaked from the non-invasive interface used to communicate with the airway of the subject.

  • Patent number: 10561329
Abstract: An acute ischemia detection device comprises a 12-lead electrocardiograph (ECG) device (12), an electronic data processing device (12), and a display component (22). The electronic data processing device applies 12-lead ECG to vessel-specific lead (VSL) transforms (50) to 12-lead ECG data acquired by the 12-lead ECG device to generate VSL lead data (e.g., LAD, LCX, and RCA vessel-specific lead data), determines ST values for the VSL lead data, and decides whether the 12-lead ECG data acquired by the 12-lead ECG device indicates acute ischemia by comparing the ST values for the VSL lead data with VSL lead ST thresholds (60). The display component may display an acute ischemia alarm or warning if the decision is the 12-lead ECG data acquired by the 12-lead ECG device indicates acute ischemia, and/or may display the generated VSL lead ECG traces.

  • Patent number: 10566980
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of locking a locked loop quickly, including receiving an input signal having an input frequency, and generating an intermediate signal having an intermediate frequency intended to be equal to a geometric mean of the input frequency and a desired frequency, but not equal. Results of division of the desired output frequency by the intermediate frequency are estimated, producing a first divider value. A first locked loop utilizing a controllable oscillator is activated. A divider value of the first locked loop is set to the first divider value, and the intermediate signal is provided to the first locked loop, so that when the first locked loop reaches lock, the controllable oscillator produces the desired frequency. When the first locked loop reaches lock, a second locked loop that utilizes the controllable oscillator is activated, the first locked loop is deactivated, and generation of the intermediate signal is ceased.

  • Patent number: 10561853
Abstract: A defibrillator (AED) and method for using a defibrillator using two different ECG analysis algorithms which work sequentially to improve the accuracy of AED shock decisions. A first algorithm, such as (ART), is particularly suited for analysis in the presence of CPR periods. A second algorithm, such as (PAS), is particularly suited for analysis during hands-off periods. The AED switches algorithms depending on the period and on the current analysis of the cardiac rhythm. The inventions thus provide an optimized ECG analysis scheme in a manner that improves the effectiveness of the rescue, resulting in more CPR “hands-on” time, better treatment of refibrillation, and reduced transition times between CPR and electrotherapy.

  • Publication number: 20200050770
Abstract: Various methods, apparatuses/systems, and media for managing vulnerability data are provided. A processor allows ingestion of vulnerability data from an external database into a local database which then makes the vulnerability data available for review via a graphical user interface (GUI). The processor also compares a risk score associated with each vulnerability included in the vulnerability data to a predefined threshold value; modifies, based on a determination that the risk score exceeds the predefined threshold value, the risk score by receiving user input via the GUI in accordance with risk information applicable to systems managed and operated by an organization; and updates a list of vulnerabilities of the vulnerability data stored in the local database by supplementing with the modified risk score without overwriting the risk score associated with each vulnerability initially received from the external database.
