Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for selecting a classification category based on query data. An example method includes receiving query data and requesting a set of classification categories from a set of classification engines. The example method further includes receiving the set of classification categories and, if a leading classification category occurs, selecting a classification category that includes the first leading classification category. The example method further includes, if the leading classification category does not occur, forming a set of partial-digits categories by removing a first pre-determined number of digits from each classification category, and if a first leading partial-digits category from the first set of partial-digits categories occurs, selecting a second classification category consistent with the first leading partial-digits category.

Abstract: An electronic meeting tool and method for communicating arbitrary media content from users at a meeting includes a node configuration adapted to operate a display node of a communications network, the display node being coupled to a first display. The node configuration is adapted to receive user selected arbitrary media content and to control display of the user selected arbitrary media content on the first display. A peripheral device adapted to communicate the user selected arbitrary media content via the communications network is a connection unit including a connector adapted to couple to a port of a processing device having a second display, a memory and an operating system, and a transmitter. A program is adapted to obtain user selected arbitrary media content, the program leaving a zero footprint on termination. The user may trigger a transfer of the user selected arbitrary media content to the transmitter.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing embedded banking services are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method for providing embedded banking services on an electronic device may include (1) a computer program executed by an electronic device comprising a computer processor generating a request to enable embedded banking services for a financial institution on the electronic device; (2) the computer program communicating the request to a host for the electronic device; (3) the computer program receiving a secure token and an encryption key from one of the host of the electronic device and the financial institution; (4) the computer program storing the secure token and encryption key in secure storage of the electronic device; and (5) the computer program enabling embedded banking services on the electronic device.

Abstract: There is provided an apparatus (12) for use in measuring blood pressure. The apparatus (12) comprises a processor (102) configured to acquire a signal indicative of pressure oscillations detected inside a cuff inflated to pressurize a measurement site of a subject undergoing cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The pressure oscillations detected inside the cuff are indicative of a pulse of the subject. The processor (102) is also configured to trigger a blood pressure measurement for the subject based on the pressure oscillations detected inside the cuff.

Abstract: A method for automatically modeling a codebase to facilitate management and analytics is provided. The method includes automatically aggregating a data set, the data set including data that correspond to a codebase; identifying, from the data set, entities and corresponding attributes, the entities relating to a component of the codebase; establishing, by using the data set, a relationship for the entities, the relationship corresponding to an interaction between each of the entities; determining a potential owner for each of the entities based on a corresponding change history; defining, by using the data set, an ownership rule for each of the entities, the ownership rule associating the potential owner to the corresponding entities; and computing an actionable item for each of the entities based on the corresponding attributes.

Abstract: A method for managing user stories in software development via artificial intelligence is disclosed. The method includes aggregating, via an application programming interface, raw data from a software development framework according to a predetermined schedule, the raw data corresponding to user stories from a plurality of users in a natural language format; ingesting the aggregated raw data to generate structured data sets; generating a language model by using a neural network and the structured data sets, the neural network including a transformer component; training, by using the structured data sets, the language model based on predetermined criterions; tuning the trained language model for tasks by adjusting parameters; and exposing, via a communication interface, the tuned language model.

Abstract: In one embodiment a method comprises: accessing information associated with a first actor, including sensed activity information associated with an activity space; analyzing the activity information, including analyzing activity of the first actor with respect to a plurality of other actors; and forwarding feedback on the results of the analysis, wherein the results includes identification of a second actor as a replacement actor to replace the first actor, wherein the second actor is one of the plurality of other actors. The activity space can include an activity space associated with performance of a task. The analyzing can comprise: comparing information associated with activity of the first actor within the activity space with anticipated activity of the respective ones of the plurality of the actors within the activity space; and analyzing/comparing deviations between the activity of the first actor and the anticipated activity of the second actor.

Abstract: An apparatus and methods are provided for a throttle body spacer that improves the performance of an internal combustion engine. The throttle body spacer comprises a body that includes an airflow opening for conducting airflow from a throttle body into an intake manifold. A spiral is disposed along a sidewall of the airflow opening and configured for swirling the airflow. The spiral comprises a helical shape disposed around a circumference of the sidewall and extends from an initial bore near a first contact surface of the body to a second contact surface. The helical shape includes a diameter that increases as the spiral extends toward the second contact surface, giving the body a sidewall taper angle that contributes to an increase in power output of the engine. A sawtooth cross-sectional shape of the spiral causes the airflow to swirl so as to improve atomization of an air-fuel mixture entering engine.

Abstract: Systems and methods provide for an integrated script development and script validation platform. The integrated script development and script validation platform archives data in a way such that the dependencies between contributions of code strings (e.g., script sets) are detected and recorded. That is, the systems and methods detect dependency branches in the script code of script sets. By doing so, the systems and methods may identify individual performance characteristics for a given script set as well as determine the overall impact on the application itself.

Abstract: The present invention relates to genetically engineered organisms, especially microorganisms such as bacteria and yeasts, for the production of added value bio-products such as specialty saccharide, activated saccharide, nucleoside, glycoside, glycolipid or glycoprotein. More specifically, the present invention relates to host cells that are metabolically engineered so that they can produce said valuable specialty products in large quantities and at a high rate by bypassing classical technical problems that occur in biocatalytical or fermentative production processes.

Abstract: An epilating device for extracting hairs out of a user's skin, including hair-clamping elements that are arranged adjacent to each other and rotatable relative to a housing. A drive system rotates the hair-clamping elements which co-operate in pairs and are moveable relative to each other during rotation. On each side surface facing an adjacent hair-clamping element, there is a hair-clamping section and a hair-catching section. The hair-catching sections of adjacent hair-clamping elements define a funnel area, wherein the hair-catching sections converge towards each other for guiding hairs towards the hair-clamping sections. The hair-clamping sections of adjacent hair-clamping elements are movable relative to each other from an open position, where the hair-clamping sections are at a distance from each other, to a closed position, where the hair-clamping sections are in mutual clamping engagement in a hair-clamping area.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for security breach notification. In one implementation, an indication of a security breach is received, at a first device with respect to a user account. Based on the indication of the security breach, a processing device generates a security breach notification, the security breach notification including an instruction to initiate at an account repository one or more actions with respect to the user account. An attempt is made to transmit the security breach notification to the account repository via a first communication interface of the first device. In response to a determination that the security breach notification was not successfully transmitted to the account repository, the security breach notification is transmitted to a second device via a second communication interface of the first device.

Abstract: A method is provided for selecting a transparency setting and color values of pixels in a virtual image. The virtual image can be formed by combining reference images taken at different angles to produce the virtual image that views an object at a new, uncaptured angle. The method includes determining for each pixel of the virtual image, what information it carries from the reference view images. The information of the pixel is used to define a pixel category, and the category is used to select, based on logical conditions, what information will be displayed by the pixel and to set the color of the pixels.

Abstract: Various methods, apparatuses, and media for processing a transaction are provided. A request to process the transaction is received. The request includes a plurality of pieces of transaction data. An initial contract is identified, based on at least a first piece of the transaction data, and loaded. The initial contract includes a plurality of mono-services, with each of the mono-services being a function literal that includes a defined input and output and being configured to implement exactly one piece of functionality. The initial contract is executed, with the mono-services being configured to return a result for responding to the request to process the transaction.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system for analysis of microscopic image data acquired from biological cells. The system includes a data processing system which is configured to read the image data and determine a plurality of vertices, wherein each of the vertices represents a location of an entity of interest within a region of interest of the image data. The data processing system generates a plurality of graphs, wherein for each of the graphs, the generation of the respective graph includes generating a plurality of edges, wherein each of the edges has two of the plurality of vertices associated therewith. For each of the graphs one or more vertex sets are identified, each of which consisting of one or more of the plurality of vertices. The data processing system further determines, for each of the graphs, a number of the identified vertex sets.
