Abstract: An apparatus for producing large stitched products has a multiple needle stitching unit, a storage device, and a processing station. The multiple needle stitching unit has a large number of stitching elements and a guide device which is arranged in the region of the stitching elements and movable in relation to the stitching elements in a direction substantially perpendicular to the conveying direction of the stitched product. Between the multiple needle stitching unit and the processing station is a device for compensating for an annular offset of the stitched product between an output of the guide device and an input of the processing station.
