  • Patent number: 7303103
Abstract: An arresting mechanism to prevent a nail gun from cocking and firing when there are no nails in its magazine. A trigger includes a retaining part organized to prevent the trigger from cocking to fire. A cotter is arranged for sliding engagement in the trigger mechanism. The cotter is provided along an axial length with a convex portion. A swingable sensing component is pivotally mounted outwardly of the housing with a magazine end projecting into the magazine and pushed outwardly by nails therein. Consequently the other end of the sensing component is pushed on to and holds the cotter during normal operation so that it does not activate the retaining part. When no nail is in the magazine the magazine end of the sensing component is no longer pushed outwardly so the cotter is moved by a spring to position its convex portion to activate the retaining part so as to jam the trigger whereby it can not cock and shoot.

  • Patent number: 6908021
Abstract: A safety catch mechanism for nail guns comprises a through hole at the upper end of a magazine of the nail gun, an axle section protruded from one side of the magazine and pivotally coupled with a rotary rod, a blocking arm extended from the rear end of the rotary rod, a blocking plate bent from the rear end of the blocking arm for being extended and blocking the rear of the trigger; wherein a push arm is extended from the front end of the rotary rod; a limit bracket is movably embedded at the end of the push arm; a latch is defined on the limit plate to be protruded from an inner wall of the magazine; by means of the foregoing structure, if the magazine is loaded with nails, the latch can be pushed outward to drive the rotary rod to rotate, so that the blocking plate is separated from the rear of the trigger and allows users to cock the trigger.

  • Patent number: 6808341
Abstract: A pneumatic edge trimming machine has a base a center of which having a hole. A sleeve extends upwards from the base for receiving a hollow outer casing. The outer casing has a top and a lower end; and the top and lower end of the outer casing are fixed to an inner casing through a frame. A space penetrating the inner casing and outer casing is formed. The inner casing is used to be installed with a pneumatic motor. A shaft is extended from a pneumatic motor. The shaft has a tool combining portion which exposes out of the hole at the base. The inner casing has an air inlet and a control switch. The inner casing has a vent facing toward a top of the outer casing, and the top of the outer casing being connected to a predetermined space by a tube. Therefore dust can be absorbed automatically in working.

  • Patent number: 6722547
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for controlling an electronic nail gun, comprising a trigger link rod and a trigger. If a user triggers a fine-tune switch, the controller will control a three-outlet pneumatic valve to switch the three-outlet airflow according to the shooting mode set by the user, so that the valve rod of a cylinder will generate a predetermined number of times of the back and forth movements in a predetermined time to drive the trigger link rod, and the trigger will be pulled for a predetermined number of times in a predetermined time.
