Each of the four tool turrets is mounted on a tool slide which is movable and positionable in the direction of spindle axis and also in the direction perpendicular to the spindle axis. This enables each of the four tool turrets to be movable from a position to machine a workpiece held on one of the spindles and another position to machine a workpiece held on the other spindle.
