Patents Assigned to Nammo Vanasverken AB
  • Patent number: 10139208
Abstract: A jacketed tracer projectile intended for small-caliber and medium-caliber weapons includes a metal core including a tracer device, in particular in the form of a pyrotechnic tracer charge, disposed inside a cavity in the metal core in the rear part of the projectile. The cavity is designed to prevent the tracer device from becoming separated from the cavity during the discharge phase of the tracer projectile. The cross-sectional area of the cavity is typically polygonal. A method for the application of the tracer device in the tracer projectile is also provided.
