Abstract: There is disclosed vision quantification systems and methods designed to evaluate functional vision. Specifically, the systems are designed with the intent to track a subject's vision using mobility and dexterity assessments. More specifically, at least one aspect of the invention relates to the design and application of the systems in the functional vision assessments in patients with low vision.

Abstract: The present invention generally relates to an image guided variable spot stimulation-based electrophysiology assessment device for different biomedical applications. Specifically, the invention relates to application of the device to perform image-guided functional assessment upon variable spot optical stimulation of light-activatable biological specimens to determine changes in the functional health during disease progression and therapy. More specifically, the invention relates to the application of the device in the diagnosis of visual and neurological disorders.
