Abstract: A rotating anticathode X-ray generating apparatus includes: a rotating anticathode; an electron beam source for irradiating an electron beam onto the rotating anticathode so that an irradiating direction of the electron beams is set equal to a direction of a centrifugal force caused by a rotation of the rotating anticathode; and a material for forming a film so as to cover at least an electron beam irradiating portion of the rotating anticathode and to suppress an evaporation of a material making the rotating anticathode from the electron beam irradiating portion.
