Abstract: An objective of the invention is to provide a work apparatus in which the maximum value of the force acting on a work object is unchanged even when the size of the object varies, the work apparatus not exerting force in excess of a prescribed value. The work apparatus is provided with a first member (1) and a second member (2), at least one of which is moveable, and is additionally provided with a work part (3) operated by movement of the first member (1) or the second member (2). Either the first member (1) or the second member (2) is furnished with a mobilization part (4) and a mobilized contact part (5), while the other is furnished with a contact receiving part (6).

Abstract: An open-close work implement is provided, wherein an object can be easily held without being damaged by a simple operation of merely gripping or squeezing the open-close operation part (5) with the fingertips. A first half member (1) and a second half member (2) are intersected and pivotally fitted together, an open-close working part (4) is provided to the distal end, and an open-close operation part (5) is provided to the proximal end. When increasing closing force is applied to the open-close operation part, the open-close operation part flexes and a contact part (7) and a receiving part (6) come in contact. Even though the closing force is further increased while the receiving part and the contact part are in a state of contact, the closing force is not transmitted to the open-close working part, and the holding force of the open-close working part does not increase.

Abstract: An open-close work implement is provided which an operator does not need to operate carefully while adjusting closing force applied to an open-close operation part by delicately increasing or reducing the closing force, wherein an object can be easily held without being damaged by an extremely simple operation of merely gripping or squeezing the open-close operation part (5) with the fingertips.
