Abstract: The present disclosure provides an apparatus for forming orthogonal joints in conduits. The apparatus includes a first piece including a first plurality of curved openings and a second piece including a second plurality of curved openings. The apparatus includes a hinge configured to couple the first piece to the second piece and to enable the first and second pieces to be configurable in each of a closed position and an open position, where, when in the open position, the first piece is positioned adjacent to the second piece and, when in the closed position, the first and second pieces are configured to define a channel for receiving a conduit and each of the first plurality of curved openings is aligned with a corresponding one of the second plurality of curved openings. The apparatus further includes one or more magnets coupled to the first or the second piece.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods, devices, apparatuses, kits, and systems for supporting an object at an opening of a structure, such as a window of a building. In an aspect of the present disclosure, an apparatus includes one or more members that define an interior section and an exterior section. The interior section configured to be coupled to the structure via a first surface of a structure, and the exterior section configured to be coupled to the structure via a second surface of the structure. The apparatus further includes a brace coupled to the one or more members and that extends through a member of the one or more members. The brace comprises includes a first end configured to be coupled to the first surface or the second surface of the structure, and a second end operable to adjust an amount that the brace extends through the member.

The first member extends along at least a partial width of the window and abuts an interior surface of the building. The first member is configured to support the object by exerting an outward force on the interior surface of the building in response to a downward force exerted by the object. The first member also comprises at least two sections extending from the interior of the building to the exterior of the building. These sections may extend from the interior of the building to the exterior of the building about respective distal ends of the first member. The sum of the forces applied on the surfaces of the building are sufficient to secure the object to the building.

The system includes a cross bar, an air conditioning unit support, and a strut. The arrangement of the components results in the cross bar applying an outward force to an interior surface of the building and strut applying an inward force to an exterior surface of the building in response to the downward force exerted on the air conditioning unit support. The sum of the forces applied on the surfaces of the building is sufficient to secure the air conditioning unit to the building.

The clamp therefore prevents the window from being opened and the air conditioning unit from being pushed through the window.

Each aperture is defined by a first half-circle side and a second half-circle side and the distance between the first half-circle side and the second half-circle side of each aperture varies according to the adjusted length of the marking plate. Also, the distance between the first half-circle side and the second half-circle side of each aperture corresponds to an angle of a pipe received through the marking plate. Indicators specify a diameter of a pipe received through the adjustable marking plate and the angle of the pipe with respect to the adjustable marking plate.
