    Abstract: Hygienic, antibacterial, and anti-allergenic pillows or pillow encasings with a covering are disclosed. The covering comprises a fabric coated with a monolithic coating and a filter. The monolithic coating prevents moisture from entering the pillow and allergens from leaving the pillow or pillow encasing. The filter is operative to allow air to egress and ingress the pillow covering.

    Abstract: Zipper-less encasing systems for a mattress are disclosed. One such system includes a bottom encasing configured to fit snugly over a bottom portion of the mattress and a top encasing configured to fit snugly over a top portion of a mattress and overlap with a portion of the bottom encasing, with the mattress completely covered by portions of both the bottom encasing and the top encasing. Also disclosed are beds, and methods of protecting a mattress.
