    Abstract: The present invention is related to a method for liver fibrosis prevention and/or treatment and a pharmaceutical composition thereof. The method and the pharmaceutical composition are made by taking the advantage of Blumea lacera ‘efficacy in accumulating lipid in hepatic stellate cells, down-regulating the proliferation of hepatic stellate cells, inhibiting the mobility of hepatic stellate cells, preventing the activation of hepatic stellate cells, and decreasing the synthesis of ECM proteins. The present invention not only provides a novel optional for clinical prevention and treatment of liver fibrosis, but also promotes the industrial value of Blumea lacera.
