  • Patent number: 10145791
Abstract: To minimize or prevent obstruction by a surface-mounted part or disturbance to an object to be visually observed, an electric field sensor is placed at a predetermined distance from a surface of the object to be visually observed, and a two-dimensional distribution of a high-frequency electric field is detected. Considering that the measured electric field distribution is due to an electrostatic field from the electric field distribution at the surface of the visually observed object, the electric field distribution at the surface is back-calculated from Gauss' flux theorem or the like, and the obtained electric field distribution is displayed or outputted. Thus, the electric field distribution at a position closer to the surface of the visually observed object is imaged while obstruction by a surface-mounted part or disturbance to the visually observed object is suppressed.

  • Patent number: 10091565
Abstract: A wavelength demultiplexer is equipped with a spectroscopic means (which separates light that is input from multiple input light paths, and outputs the light to multiple output light paths) and a light path switching device (a device that switches the light paths that are input to the spectroscopic means, with the switching being performed by an external operation), and the light path switching device may be a device that distributes the input from one input port to multiple output ports. The light path switching device and the spectroscopic means are polarization-independent, with the input light paths, the output light paths, and the light paths between the light path switching device and the spectroscopic means being polarization-maintaining light paths, so the relative polarization configuration is the same for the input light and the output light.

  • Patent number: 10090918
Abstract: To realize collective measurement of ultrawide-band optical signals which have exceeded an electrical band limit. This photodetection device (100) comprises: a time-delay adjustment means (10) into which is input an optical signal that is a detection object; an optical frequency comb generator (20) that generates an optical frequency comb; a photomixer (30) that photomixes optical signal series which are sequentially output from the time delay adjustment means (10) and which were subjected to time adjustment, and the optical frequency comb signal which is output from the optical frequency comb generator (20); and a photodetector (40) that detects the mixed signal output from the photomixer (30). The time delay adjustment means (10) performs time adjustment on the optical signal series so that each of the time adjusted optical signal series is photomixed with the optical frequency comb at different timings in the photomixer (30).

[Solution] The apparatus includes: selecting means receiving a bilingual sentence pair and a word alignment for the bilingual sentence pair, for successively selecting words fj of a sentence in a first language in a prescribed order; and a recurrent neural network (RNN) 100, computing, for all words of the sentence in the first language, a score 102 representing a probability that a word pair consisting of the word fj and a word ea_{j} aligned with the word fj by a word alignment aj in a second language of the bilingual sentence pair is a correct word pair, and based on this score, for computing a score of the word alignment aj. When computing a score of word pair (fj, ea_{j}), RNN 100 computes a score 102 of the word pair (fj, ea_{j}) based on all word alignments a1j-1 selected by the selecting means prior to the word fj of the word pair (fj, ea_{j}), of the word alignments aj, by means of a recurrent connection 118.
