Abstract: A surface mounted slide bolt including a base, a strike, a bolt and a plug for locking the bolt in either extended or retracted positions and for disposing the bolt in position relative to the base for assembly and disassembly. The bolt includes tongues receivable in notches of L-shaped flanges of the base.
Abstract: A machine for trimming the edges of metal containers in which a plurality of upstanding, vertically disposed cams are positioned upon a table. A plurality of sliding cutters are provided equal in number to the cams. The cams are driven up and down by a vertically reciprocating platen below the table by means of a power source, a crank shaft and an arm coupling the crank shaft and platen. Various cam face shapes and cam followers are disclosed to provide the cutting sequence of the cutters.
Abstract: A fixed fishing rod receiving member is provided with an opposed latch member swingably secured thereto. Spaced hookshaped extensions on the rod receiving member underlie the rods and spaced pins extending toward the rod receiving member and carried by the latch member overlie the rods. A block of resilient material is carried between the hooks and the pins to grasp and cushion the rods within the rack when closed. Lock means are provided to secure the rods in place within the device.
Abstract: A metal door frame is fabricated in the field by interfitting channel cross pieces in channel uprights and curling prepunched tongues in the uprights through openings in the cross pieces to square-up and to secure the cross pieces to the uprights.
