  • Patent number: 6656858
Abstract: A laminate wall structure which can be used as an exterior wall in manufactured housing and site built construction is made up of a low density layer having a density of from about one-half pound to three pounds per cubic foot, a second, reinforcing layer laminated to the low density layer and, optionally, a cellulosic layer laminated to the second, reinforcing layer. The low density layer is preferably a foamed polymer layer, the second, reinforcing layer is a polymer fabric, a biaxially oriented polymeric film or a fiberglass reinforced material and the cellulosic layer can be impregnated with an adhesive and/or resin in order to strengthen the laminate structure. This laminate wall structure has a low weight and yet is strong enough to meet wind zone wall diaphragm requirements for housing construction.

  • Patent number: 5863091
Abstract: A vehicle floor assembly is made up of a floor and a liner provided underneath and attached to the floor. The liner is made up of a cellulosic or unwoven polymer fabric bonding layer laminated to a polymer fabric reinforcing layer. The polymer fabric of the reinforcing layer can either be woven or unwoven. This vehicle floor assembly has an improved moisture resistance and strength over conventional floor assemblies.

  • Patent number: 5609383
Abstract: A liner for a vehicle is provided between the vehicle's floor and frame and protects the underside of the floor from moisture coming from underneath the vehicle. The liner also has a drainage feature which allows for liquids trapped between it and the floor to drain therethrough. The vehicle liner is made up of a pair of strips of a waterproof material disposed adjacent to each other with a gap provided between them and a third strip of a waterproof material covering the gap. The three strips effectively remove liquids from underneath the vehicle floor and yet form a moisture barrier for preventing moisture arising from underneath the vehicle from contacting with the vehicle floor.
