Abstract: Each of multiple vehicle data collection devices are configured to collect data streams associated with operation of a vehicle. The data streams include time-stamped speed data. A transmitter is configured to transmit the data streams. An analytics server is configured to receive the data streams transmitted by the transmitter and to process the data. In connection with the processing, data streams with at least one common time stamp are identified. The time-stamped speed for one of the data streams at a first time interval is compared to the time-stamped speed for another of the identified plurality of data streams at a second time interval, where the second time interval comprises the first time interval plus an additional time increment. Based on the comparison, it is determined whether the two of the plurality of data streams are associated with a same trip or a different trip.

Abstract: Improved computer modeling techniques, and uses thereof, are described herein. A set of unstructured textual data is received. Certain textual data is removed from the set of unstructured data to form an initial vocabulary set of textual data. One or more bigrams are added to the vocabulary set of textual data to form a final vocabulary set of textual data. The final vocabulary set of textual data is divided into a plurality of subsets of textual data based on type. A model is trained using each of the plurality of subsets of textual data to form a plurality of trained models, each corresponding to one of the types.

Abstract: A system for configuring a server including a portable housing having a front panel, a back panel, and a cutout disposed on the front panel, a control board disposed within the portable housing, the control board having a socket configured to operably receive and couple to a network interface card that is insertable into and removable from the housing only through the cutout, and a rib disposed within the portable housing between the front panel and the back panel, the rib having a support configured and dimensioned to engage the network interface card when the network interface card is inserted within the housing in an aligned configuration with the socket, a cooling system coupled to and powered via the control board, the cooling system including one or more fans disposed at least partially disposed within the portable housing, and a power supply system coupled to the control board.

Abstract: A system and method for creating and tracking software requirements associated with a product offering. An electronic template is employed in connection with the system and method. The electronic template is configured to be associated with a product type, where the product type is associated with a plurality of software requirements. The electronic template comprises a plurality of fields where the fields comprise software requirement type fields. Each software requirement type field is associated with a software requirement content field. The electronic template is configured to receive data in the software requirement type fields and the software requirement content fields. A database is employed and configured to store the data received in the software requirement type fields and the software requirement content fields in accordance with the configuration of the template.

Abstract: Model metadata for each of a plurality of mathematical models is stored. Data describing two sets of models is received. Each of the sets identifies one or more models of the plurality of mathematical models. One of the sets comprises a transition-from set and one of the sets comprises a transition-to set. Data describing a launch date for commencing a transition from executing the model(s) in the transition-from set to executing the model(s) in the transition-to set is received. Data describing a transition period of time for the transition is received. The models in the transition-from set and in the transition-to set are executed during the transition period of time. An output of the execution of the model(s) in the transition-from set is combined with an output of the execution of the model(s) in the transition-to set. The output is stored in a database.

Abstract: A system and method for predicting behavior and/or outcomes related to a consumer's experience with an organization are implemented. Household data for households that are associated with a customer service interaction as of a certain date is collected, the household data having been created over a first pre-determined period of time preceding the certain date. The household data is analyzed to identify positive household data sets and negative household data sets. The positive household data sets relate to customer service interactions which preceded a high level customer service interaction within a subsequent period of time and the negative household data sets relate to customer service transactions which did not precede a high level customer service interaction with the subsequent period of time.

Abstract: A predictive insurance underwriting system. An electronic life insurance policy application processing apparatus accepts data describing a consumer. An underwriting desktop processing apparatus receives the data. An underwriting rules processing apparatus determines, based on the data describing the consumer, whether the consumer is eligible for expedited underwriting of a life insurance policy covering the consumer. If it is determined that the consumer is eligible for expedited underwriting, a tele-interview processing apparatus collects first additional data relating to the consumer during a telephonic interview and, in response to a request from a processing unit, one or more third party databases transmit second additional data relating to the consumer.

Abstract: A graphical user interface generates a control pane and a diagram pane. The control pane graphically depicts control objects that are each associated with a different viewpoint of digital products. The diagram pane displays graphical representations based upon a user-selected control object in the control pane. In use, a hierarchical view of digital products is presented in the diagram pane. A user can select a digital product from the hierarchical view, and then graphically navigate the digital product, whereby the graphical user interface presents aspects of the digital product, represented as nodes and interconnecting lines in different views defined by the viewpoint associated with user-selected control objects available in the control pane.

Abstract: A graphical user interface comprising at least two layers is displayed. One layer comprises a still and video image layer. The still and video image layer comprises a plurality of still images and a plurality of video content items. One layer comprises an interactive icon layer. The interactive icon layer comprises a plurality of icons. Upon receiving a first navigation request, one the plurality of still images currently being rendered is replaced with another of the plurality of still images. Upon receiving an activation of one of the interactive icons, text and/or graphics or one of a plurality of electronic forms for capturing data input is displayed. Upon the occurrence of a triggering event, the still image ceases to be displayed and, instead, one of the plurality of video content items is displayed. The displayed video content item is randomly selected from the plurality of video content items.

Data describing a number of individuals affected by the event; an estimated number of hours spent by the organization on managing the event; enrollment by individuals affected by the event in a credit monitoring service; an estimated amount spent on communications within the organization relating to the event; an estimated number of hours of loss of productivity by the organization; an estimated credit monitoring service call center volume; an estimated amount spent on computer forensics; and an estimated amount spent on legal counsel is received.

Abstract: A process and system that allows a user with a mobile device to interact with a remote database includes wirelessly coupling the mobile device to the database over a wireless network using a username. Based on the username, and in some cases a role associated with the username, the database transmits a set of data records to the mobile device in one or more subsets of data records. The user selects one of the records and provides an update that includes an item of some sort (e.g., a photograph, a note to the record, etc.). However, the user cannot delete anything associated with the record. If the update can be transmitted to the database, then the mobile device transmits the update. However, if the update cannot be transmitted, then the update is stored for a later transmission. Once the update is transmitted, it is deleted from the mobile device.

A transmitter is configured to transmit the collected data. An analytics server is configured to receive the collected data transmitted by the transmitter and to process the collected data. A rate processing server configured to determine a driver safety rating. The collected data comprises vehicle speed measured at a predetermined time interval and the analytics server (i) determines a change in speed value over the predetermined time interval and raises the change in speed value to an exponential power to determine an exponentiated change in speed value; (ii) determines a maximum speed of the vehicle during the predetermined time interval; and (iii) determines the driver safety rating based on the maximum speed and a magnitude of the exponentiated change in speed value relative to a distance traveled over the predetermined time interval.

Abstract: Model metadata for each of a plurality of models is stored. The model metadata includes a statistical analysis technique identifier and one or more model input data identifiers. A request to execute a model is received. The request includes data identifying one of the plurality of models, and a model execution start date and end date. On the model execution start date, execution of the model associated with the model execution request is commenced. Outputs of the executed model are stored in a database. The outputs are associated with a model instance identifier, information describing a context for execution of the model, and model output type information. The outputs are retrieved, using the model instance identifier, for analysis.

Abstract: A sales lead generation system includes components including a gaming device and an application server. The application server includes a game controlling module and an education module configured to display on the gaming device educational information regarding financial products and receive data indicating that the end user has reviewed the educational information or answered a question regarding it. The application server also includes a loyalty module configured to award the end user consumer reward points. A social media server component is configured to transmit social media data associated with the end user to the application server. A biofeedback device component is configured to collect biofeedback data associated with the end user and transmit the biofeedback data to the application server. The application server further includes a correlation module configured to identify financial products based on the game play data, the social media data and the biofeedback data.

Abstract: Verified electronic products are created and distributed by an electronic platform, which includes a client interface, a creator interface, a decider interface, and a backer interface. An unverified product associated with a creator entity is received through the creator interface, where the unverified product comprises an electronic product having a set of clauses. A decider entity and backer entity are associated with the unverified product, which is converted to a verified product. The verified product is then added to a search engine associated with other previously verified products to define a collection of searchable verified products. Client information is obtained through the client interface and is used to identify a verified product from the collection of searchable verified products via the search engine. Based on the identified verified product, and instrument is built and is communicated to the client entity via the client interface for acceptance by the client entity.
