  • Method for producing formed blanks from thermoplastically workable component mixtures

    Abstract: A method for producing formed blanks wherein the components are premixed in a first stage and metered. Heat and moisture are added to the mixture in a controlled manner and the mixture is then formed into pellets. The pellets are cooled with air, comminuted and further processed into formed blanks after storage for an arbitrary length of time. The method of this invention leads to more homogeneous and improved results and is extremely inexpensive.
