Abstract: A birdfeeder has a base (20) comprising a frame (30), a floor (40), and a railing (50). The frame (30) can be inexpensively constructed from wooden boards having standard widths and depths. The floor (40) is selectively removable from the rest of the base (20) and can be economically made from a perforation-provided sheet with unturned edges. The railing (50) is situated below the floor (40) but not below the frame (30) so as to accommodate ledge-seating, limb-hanging, or pole-mounting of the birdfeeder.
Abstract: A birdfeeder (10) comprising a housing (20) having a hexagonal tube with an open top and an open bottom. Feed-port inserts (30) and perches (40) are securely but removably attached to the housing (20) via keyed contours. A roof (50) and a base (60) are also securely but removably attached to the housing (20).
Abstract: A birdfeeder (10) is provided wherein a housing (20) defines a compartment (21) which is much wider than it is tall or deep. The housing (20) can comprise a plastic tube (30), lateral end lids (40), and a door (50). Perches (60) extend beyond the compartment (21), and a roof (80) is removably attachable to the housing (20).
