Patents Assigned to NCO2 Company LLC
  • Patent number: 7964148
Abstract: A method and system of providing compressed substantially oxygen-free exhaust gas for industrial purposes including the steps of extracting exhaust gas from a lean burn engine consuming a mixture of natural gas fuel and air, passing the extracted exhaust gas through a cooling step to cause entrained water vapor therein to condense out, separating and disposing of the condensed water, measuring the oxygen content of the exhaust gas, using the measurement to regulate the quantity of natural gas fed into an igniter into which the exhaust gas is also fed so that substantially all of the oxygen in the exhaust gas is consumed by combustion with the natural gas in the igniter to provide at an outlet of the igniter substantially oxygen-free exhaust gas, and compressing the substantially oxygen-free exhaust gas to provide compressed exhaust gas for industrial applications.

  • Patent number: 7765794
Abstract: A method and system of providing compressed low NOx exhaust gas for industrial purposes including for use in augmenting crude oil production including the steps of extracting exhaust gas from an engine consuming a controllable mixture of hydrocarbon fuel and air, compressing and cooling the exhaust gas to condense water therefrom, measuring the pH of the condensed water, employing the measured pH to adjust the ratio of the hydrocarbon fuel and air supplied to the engine to achieve a substantially neutral pH measurement and thereby obtain compressed exhaust gas having a low NOx content.

  • Patent number: 6893615
Abstract: A method and system for providing substantially water-free compressed exhaust gas including extracting exhaust gas from a hydrocarbon fuel consuming engine, passing engine exhaust gas through a catalytic converter, passing the exhaust gas from the catalytic converter through a first compressor and chiller/separator in which the exhaust gas is compressed and chilled below the dew point temperature thereof to cause entrained water vapor therein to condense out, separating out and disposing of the condensed water to achieve extra dry exhaust gas and compressing the extra dry exhaust gas in a second compressor to provide compressed exhaust gas for industrial purposes such as for injecting into a subterranean formation to augment the production of crude oil.
