Patents Assigned to NCR Corportion
  • Patent number: 11055682
Abstract: An SST facilitates authentication of a user through an external service via a mobile device operated by the user. The SST also obtains independent verification of an access command sent from a server through a cryptographic peripheral module integrated into the SST before sending a command to grant authenticated access to the SST in response to the access command.

  • Patent number: 11044329
Abstract: Devices and methods for client application user experience tracking may include generating a user experience score based on tracked operation and user inputs to the client application. The user experience score is transmitted to an experience tracking service (e.g., remote computer server, locally executed application).

  • Publication number: 20130159224
Abstract: Techniques for real-time offer customer preference learning are presented. Local agents on communication channels are equipped with predefined rules that capture actions and behaviors of customers interacting with an enterprise. The metrics associated with these actions and behaviors are plugged into the rules and in some cases combined with known pre-existing preferences for the customers for purposes of evaluating the rules and creating newly learned preferences for the customers. The newly learned preferences are dynamically fed into offer evaluation processing to determine whether to make offers to the customers.

  • Patent number: 5790394
Abstract: A dual AC input module providing AC line isolation of different phases without the use of relay control. Power supply load is supported through two AC line feeds, each feed being connected through a bridge rectifier to a common bulk DC power supply backplane. The parallel configuration of AC line feeds and bridge rectifiers eliminates the need for relay control logic to open relays and isolate a failed primary AC line feed prior to closing relays to connect a second AC feed to the power supply, as required with previous dual AC input module designs to isolate different line feeds of different phases.
