Abstract: A method and system is presented for determining a track record of a moving object by determining at least one characteristic property of the object, such as the velocity, acceleration, cetripetal acceleration, total travelled distance and total time. This is solved by utilizing a plurality of received Global-Positioning System (GPS) coordinates, each of the coordinates comprising the momentary position and the actual time of the moving object, and storing the at least one coordinates data in a storage means. From these coordinates the at least one characteristic property of the moving object is determined and thereby the track record of the moving object.
