  • Patent number: 6234328
Abstract: The invention relates to an adjustable shelf system having a shelf with a series of tracks. Connected to the shelf is at least one adjustable support bracket. The support bracket is adjustable because it has a series of vertical tracks connected to a series of horizontal tracks. A shelf bar is slidable within these tracks and allows the shelf to be adjusted based upon its angle and spacing from a slotted wall. Display material can be placed on the shelf in a stack and supported by a weighted pusher. The weighted pusher supports these books by sliding within the tracks of the shelf to a front plate. The front plate is designed to support this display material and also stop the pusher from sliding off an end of the track.

  • Patent number: 6189710
Abstract: A display device for displaying articles of merchandise, such as gelatin and pudding. The display device has a base having a central opening, a vertical support pole secured in the central opening of the base, a plurality of three-sided trays defining three corner areas mounted on the pole, a plurality of U-shaped filler panels disposed between at least two of the trays, a plurality of support columns mounted in the trays, and a header assembly coupled to the support pole and engaging the columns. Each tray has a plurality of edges and comprises a plurality of cantilevered shelves disposed transversely, preferably at an upward angle, relative to the pole. The trays are vertically stacked and spaced apart from each other along the support pole. The filler panels are mounted in the shelves of one of the trays and each filler panel forms an open-faced compartment for display of the article of merchandise. Each of the support columns is mounted in two of the shelves in each tray.

  • Patent number: 6065725
Abstract: An adjustable retaining bracket for securing a display panel to a stationary object. The invention provides a retaining bracket having a latching arm, with a rounded nose, pivotally connected to the bracket. The latching arm engages a corresponding latching pin located on a support arm. The support arm is secured to a display panel and pivotally attached to the mounting bracket using bolts. The invention is then secured to the existing store shelving using nuts and bolts. The latching arm contains at least one detent and is used to retain the display panel at a variety of viewing angles depending upon which detent engages the latching pin. When the display panel is rotated counterclockwise (toward the store shelving), the latching pin of the support arm engages the rounded nose of the latching arm, raises the arm and comes to rest in a detent position. Further movement of the sign will move the sign to the next detent position (if available).

  • Patent number: 5832644
Abstract: A flexible sign board for blade signs is provided. The sign board has a frame with a mounting bracket that is connected to a resilient support. The resilient support is a plurality of springs connected to a shelf or the wall bracket according to the desired application. The springs support and maintain the sign frame perpendicular to the wall or shelf the sign is attached to and thereby provides a "swing away" effect of the sign when bumped into or pushed out of the consumers way. The flexible sign frame and mounting thereof will not obstruct the consumer aisle, and thereby enables the increased visibility of the displayed items from a further distance. The flexible sign board system provides the ability to adapt the sign board to an infinite variety of varying shelf depths without using or taking away valuable retail shelf space.
