Patents Assigned to NEC Corporatiion
  • Publication number: 20210227595
Abstract: A communication system capable of improving signal processing efficiency even when a plurality of connections are established is provided. A communication system according to the present invention includes a user plane PGW (14) configured to connect to a PDN, a user plane SGW (12) configured to relay user plane data between the user plane PGW (14) and a base station (34), and a control plane SGW (30). Further, the communication system includes a control apparatus (32) configured to, when a plurality of connections are established for the communication terminal (36), transmit information indicating that the user plane PGW (14) and the user plane SGW (12) can be integrally configured to the control plane SGW (30) for each of the plurality of connections.

  • Publication number: 20080159251
Abstract: A mobile communication system including a base station which divides a transmission frequency band into a plurality of frequency blocks, and assigns radio resources to each mobile station for each of the frequency blocks, the base station including: a frequency block assignment information creation portion that creates frequency block assignment information based on a downlink signal reception status and a downlink signal reception status degradation rate in each mobile station; and a radio resource assignment portion that assigns the radio resources to each frequency block based on the frequency block assignment information.

  • Patent number: 6890178
Abstract: A gun suitable for games is disclosed for permitting an operator to recognize when a trigger is pulled. A target signal receiver receives a target signal sent from a target for causing the gun to recognize that the gun is opposite the target, and notifies a controller that the target signal receiver has received the target signal. Upon detection of a manipulation by the operator, the controller a forces shooting device to perform a shooting operation, and instructs an information generator to generate recognition information. The shooting device emits an optical bullet formed of a light ray. The recognition information generator drives a solenoid to bring associated members into impact against each other to permit the operator to recognize that the operation has been performed.

  • Patent number: 5663959
Abstract: An ATM cell switching apparatus which prevents degradation of user cells in the ATM switch and preserve the quality of control cells, even upon increase in the control cells. Control cell discriminator 2.sub.1 discriminates whether the cells on the input cell highways 1.sub.1 are control cells or user cells, and output control cell dropping instruction signal 3.sub.1 when the cells are discriminated as control cells. Control cell dropper 4.sub.1 distributes the user cells onto the cell highways 5.sub.1 and the control cells onto the input control cell highway 6.sub.1. Control cell processing unit 8 performs a termination of the control cells and processes necessary operation ralating to the control cells. The control cells to be output are temporarily stored in the control cell FIFO 13.sub.1, and inserted into an idle cell position in the switch output cell highway 10.sub.1 when an idle cell is appeared. If no idle cell is available, the idle cell output instruction signal 14.sub.

  • Patent number: 5524089
Abstract: A logarithm computing circuit for fixed point numbers is disclosed that has: a shift number detection circuit that inputs a number of a fixed point representation, detects a shift number of the inputted number for the purpose of dividing the inputted number into an exponent part and a mantissa part, calculates an exponent part from the shift number and a radix point position of the inputted number, subtracts 1 from the exponent part, and finally outputs the subtraction result as an integer part; a shift circuit that normalizes the inputted number by shifting the inputted number a number of bits equal to the shift number and generates a mantissa part that is equal to or above 0.5 and below 1; and a decimal-part computing circuit that converts the mantissa part to its logarithm to base 2, adds 1 to the conversion result and outputs the result as a decimal part.
