Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices, and computer readable medium for communication. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, a terminal device transmits capability information to a network device. The capability information indicates at least one MCS supported by the terminal device and at least one configuration associated with the at least one MCS. The at least one configuration comprises a set of parameters associated with the at least one MCS. The terminal device receives a configuration of a configured MCS from the network device. The configured MCS is not higher than the at least one MCS supported by the terminal device. In this way, it enables the terminal device assisting the scheduling, thereby improving spectral efficiency of the communication system.
Abstract: There is provided a method of generating a reduced ML model, comprising: obtaining a sample dataset, extracting global features from the sample dataset, applying a feature selection process for selecting a first subset of the global features, analyzing a classification performance of the ML model fed the first subset, to identify an error in classification by the ML model, identifying a subset of the sample dataset related to the error, extracting second features from the subset of the sample data, applying the feature selection process for selecting a second subset of the second features, and creating a reduced version of the ML model, comprising an ensemble of: a first ML model component trained by applying the first subset of global features to the sample dataset, and a second ML model component trained by applying the second subset of features to the subset of the sample data related to the error.

Abstract: A position detection device includes a transmitter that transmits an optical pulse into an optical transmission line laid along the movement path of a moving body; a detector that detects back-scattered light in the optical transmission line; a data processor that calculates the intensity of the back-scattered light and the generation position of the back-scattered light; a storage in which the processing results of the data processor are saved; a search range derivation circuit that derives a search range for the position of the moving body; a maximum value extraction circuit that extracts the generation position at which the variation of intensity within the search range is at a maximum, and causes the extracted generation position to be saved in the storage; and an output circuit that outputs the extraction result.
Abstract: A method for transmitting data is provided. The method includes sending a probing packet using a scanning beam selected from a set of probing beams. The method further includes receiving feedback about the probing packet. The method also includes determining a data transmission beam based on the set of probing beams and the received feedback. Abstract: A computer-implemented method is provided for action localization. The method includes converting one or more video frames into person keypoints and object keypoints.
