  • Patent number: 12256362
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices and computer readable media for communication. A method of communication comprises determining, at a terminal device, whether first paging occasion information of a first paging overlaps with second paging occasion information of a second paging; and in response to the first paging occasion information overlapping with the second paging occasion information, transmitting an indication of paging collision between the first paging and the second paging to a network device associated with the first paging. In this way, the solving of the paging collision issue can be facilitated at RAN side, and low latency and high efficiency can be achieved.

  • Patent number: 12254494
Abstract: An information processing apparatus acquires face image data of a passenger who has disembarked from an aircraft from an image capture device, and acquires identification information corresponding to the face image data acquired from the image capture device from the storage device. In the storage device, the identification information of the passenger, which includes flight information of the passenger, and the face image data of the passenger are stored in association with each other in advance. The information processing apparatus determines, based on the flight information included in the acquired identification information, whether the passenger is a passenger who is to re-board an aircraft after disembarking from the aircraft. If the passenger is a re-boarding passenger, a tour suitable for the passenger is determined based on the acquired identification information, and the information is displayed on the display devices.

  • Patent number: 12254640
Abstract: In an object tracking device, the extraction means extracts target candidates from images in a time-series. The first setting means sets a first search range based on frame information and reliability of a target in a previous image in the time-series. The tracking means searches the target from the target candidates extracted within the first search range using the reliability indicating similarity to a target model, and tracks the target. The second setting means sets a second search range which includes the first search range and which is larger than the first search range. The model updating means updates the target model using the target candidates extracted within the first search range and the target candidates extracted within the second search range.

  • Patent number: 12255890
Abstract: The present invention reduces the risk of user biometric information being leaked to a third party. A biometric authentication device (820) receives an echo signal (response signal) from a client device. The echo signal is formed as a result of an inspection signal being applied to an authentication subject by a client device, and the inspection signal being transmitted into the body or to the surface of the body of the authentication subject and changing into the echo signal. The biometric authentication device (820) comprises: an inspection signal generation unit (821) that generates the same inspection signal as the client device; a transmission characteristic calculation unit (823) that calculates, from the inspection signal and the echo signal, a transmission characteristic of the authentication subject; and an authentication unit (824) that authenticates the authentication subject by comparing a preregistered first transmission characteristic and a calculated second transmission characteristic.
