Patent number: 9727107Abstract: A controlled apparatus periodically transmits state information indicating the state of the apparatus, and when the state has been changed, transmits state information indicating the state after the change. Upon receiving state information from the controlled apparatus, a control apparatus, when not requesting a change of state in the controlled apparatus, returns the state information to the controlled apparatus, and when requesting a change of the state in the controlled apparatus, changes state parameters in the state information that correspond to the state to be changed to required values and transmits the state information after the change to the controlled apparatus as a control command. The controlled apparatus, upon receiving the control command from the control apparatus, changes to a state in accordance with the state parameters that follow the change and transmits the state information indicating the state after the change to the control apparatus.Type: GrantFiled: August 4, 2011Date of Patent: August 8, 2017Assignees: NEC CORPORATION, NEC Magnus Communications, Ltd.Inventors: Hiroo Hongo, Masaki Yasukawa

Publication number: 20130154348Abstract: A center device performing power feed control generates a control signal for controlling supply and suspension of power to a main load of a remote terminal and transmits the control signal by superimposing the control signal on the power to be supplied to the remote terminal. The remote terminal includes a power-receiving side unit, a switch that connects the power-receiving side unit with the main load when the switch is on and disconnects the power-receiving side unit from the main load when the switch is off, and a control signal receiver that receives the control signal superimposed on the power transmitted from the center device to turns the switch on or off in accordance with the control signal received at the control signal receiver.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 4, 2011Publication date: June 20, 2013Applicants: NEC MAGNUS COMMUNICATIONS, LTD., NEC CORPORATIONInventors: Hiroo Hongo, Masaki Yasukawa

Patent number: 8249175Abstract: The present invention provides a communication device that may suppress unnecessary break points. A communication device 200 includes a noise measuring unit 205 that measures noise occurring on a communication line 300; a communication controlling unit 202 that adjusts an SNR value of a transmission signal based on the noise measured in the noise measuring unit 205 and carries out a communication; a virtual noise determining unit 206 that determines the amount of virtual noise applied to some noise and stores the determined amount of noise in a memory unit 204; and a virtual noise applying unit 207 that applies the amount of noise stored in the memory unit 204 to the noise, wherein the virtual noise determining unit 206 dynamically divides a frequency band and determines the amount of noise of the divided frequency band as the amount of virtual noise.Type: GrantFiled: September 4, 2008Date of Patent: August 21, 2012Assignee: NEC Magnus Communications, Ltd.Inventor: Yusaku Okamura
