Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a movement amount calculation unit (110) configured to calculate a movement of an object based on positional information indicating a position of the object, a comparison unit (120) configured to compare the movement calculated by the movement amount calculation unit (110) with a predetermined threshold, and an output unit (130) configured to output a result of the comparison made in the comparison unit (120). By this configuration, for example, the information processing apparatus outputs a result of the comparison between the movement of the object calculated based on the positional information indicating the position of the object calculated by satellite positioning and a predetermined threshold. Therefore, it is possible to determine the reliability of the result of the satellite positioning more accurately.
