Abstract: The system includes a metering valve for each cylinder including a main valve and an auxiliary valve. The auxiliary valve is electrically controlled ad via a mechanical, pressure controlled amplifier mechanism, the main orifice in the metering valve is opened.
Abstract: Device for injecting a gaseous fuel into an internal combustion engine with several cylinders is provided with a vaporizer pressure regulator and metering elements for supplying the fuel from the vaporizer/pressure regulator to the inlet of the cylinders. In order to ensure a uniform supply to each cylinder, the metering elements have separate metering apertures, each of which belongs to its own cylinder, and which are connected by separate respective pipes to the cylinder. A pressure regulating valve is also provided in each pipe near the inlet of the cylinder, for the purpose of maintaining a constant pressure between the metering elements and the inlet.
Abstract: Device for the intelligent control of a venturi-type carburettor unit for a gaseous fuel, including a pressure regulator, a main throttle valve in the airsuction pipe for control of the engine output and a regulating valve in the gas supply pipe between the pressure regulator and the venturi, this valve being coupled to the main throttle valve. By adjusting this mechanical system for providing a too rich air-fuel-mixture under all conditions, only mirror adjustments of the mixture are necessary to provide the engine with the correct mixture required for each load/speed condition. These requirements are stored in a processor, and the latter controls the necessary corrections of the mixture by diluting the gasflow to the main venturi with some air. To this end a small venturi is placed in the gaspipe, the gasflow sucking the diluting air through a mixing air regulating valve, which valve is controlled by the processor in a continuous, analogic intelligent way. Optionally an O.sub.
