    Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes an array of pixels each including a plurality of sub-pixels, a plurality of pixel electrodes disposed in the respective sub-pixels, and a plurality of common electrodes disposed in the respective sub-pixels. The common electrode disposed in each of the sub-pixels in one of the pixels on each row is connected to the common electrodes disposed in the corresponding sub-pixels in the others of the pixels on the each row, to form a group of common electrodes connected together.
