  • Patent number: 9948544
Abstract: The invention enables placement and use of a network node function in a second network node instead of using the network node function in a first network node. The network node function is e.g. a server function or a router function. The second network node is typically located in or close to the client device or to the network of an operator servicing a client device to enable optimization of client-server communication and optimization of the load on the client-server communication in the network. Client requests transmitted to the first network node may be redirected to the second network node.

  • Publication number: 20070119262
Abstract: With a Coriolis mass flow meter a mass flow through a pipe is determined by exerting a force and/or moment on at least one location on the pipe, such that vibrations of several vibration modes are excited. The magnitude is determined of the force and/or the moment with which the pipe is excited. The response of the pipe is measured at multiple locations between two clamping points of the pipes, at excitations with several different frequencies. The sensitivity of the response to the mass flow is calculated on the basis of a model which comprises as free parameters the mass flow and model parameters which determine the sensitivity, wherein the mass flow and the model parameters are estimated that correspond with the combination of the force and/or the moment and the response measured for the different frequencies.

  • Patent number: 6636177
Abstract: A volumetric phased array antenna system comprising a number of antenna elements, each of which is connected to a T/R (transmitter/receiver) module, being under the control of a beam steering computer (BSC), to which T/R module a transmitting signal is fed for forming a transmitting beam, via which T/R modules RF signals are received and via a radar receiver are fed to a signal processing unit connected thereto. The antenna elements are arranged in mutually spaced conformal curved virtual surfaces having the same center of curvature or the same centers of curvature, with each combination of antenna elements in one or more surfaces together forming a volumetric phased array antenna or a part thereof.
