Patent number: 8885642Abstract: An address for controlling transmission of routing through a network is obtained by means of input from a combination of network terminals. Initially, address describing data is received from a user via a source terminal. A control circuit determines whether the address describing data is sufficient to define an address of a destination. If not, the control circuit uses the address describing data to extract information must be met by the destination, but for which it is not known for specific destinations whether it is met. The information may define a desired property of the destination for example, or a mutual relation between the user and the destination. The control circuit then transmits a confirmation request to one or more possible destinations, to ask whether information relates to the possible destination. If a positive confirmation is received back from a possible destination, the address of this possible destination is used.Type: GrantFiled: August 31, 2010Date of Patent: November 11, 2014Assignee: Nederlandse Organisatie voor toegepast-natuurwetenschappelijk onderzoek TNOInventors: Pieter Albert Nooren, Nicolaas Wijnand Keesmaat, Antonius Hendrikus Norp, Mattijs Oskar Van Deventer

Publication number: 20140289275Abstract: Signal data from a sensor is stored in a storage device. The signal data is accessed by means access request that includes an identification of a base signal that may indicate the signal data from said sensor and an identification of a derivation to obtain a requested signal from the base signal. An interface extracts the identifications of the base signal the derivation. The interface tests whether stored signal data obtained from the base signal by said derivation is available in the storage device, and if so it returns the stored signal data in response to the access request via the interface. If not signal data is derived from further stored signal data by at least one signal processing operation identified in the derivation.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 11, 2012Publication date: September 25, 2014Applicant: Nederlandse Organisatie voor toegepast- natuurwetenschappelijk onderzoek TNOInventors: Erik Alle Fokko Langius, Bram Dirk Van Der Waaij, Matthijs Raymond Vonder, Allart Bastiaans, Wiltfried Pathuis
