Abstract: A fastening element includes a cylindrical threaded portion having an external thread which transitions into a transition thread of an adjoining centering portion, the transition thread having at least one turn. The at least one transition thread turn is designed in such a way that its flanks transition into a curved surface, the centering portion having a threading portion including a frusto-conical portion at the end.
Abstract: The invention relates to a self-tapping screw (1) consisting of a low-strength non-ferrous material, having a screw body (3) which is provided, at least in regions, with a coating (5), wherein the coating (5) is formed from an elastomer or polymer material enriched with fillers.
