Abstract: A contrast liquid injector has a controller that calculates a necessary volume of the contrast medium based on a read out necessary dose of effective component per unit weight, weight of the subject, and concentration of the effective component. The injection rate of a base-operation condition is changed based on the calculated necessary volume of the contrast medium, wherein the predetermined injection time is unchanged, for all volumes of the contrast medium, when making the injection pattern, whereby a timing of an optimum concentration of the contrast medium will be substantially unchanged for all volumes of the contrast medium.

  • Patent number: 8670817
Abstract: A liquid injector (400) injects a medical liquid into a patient whose fluoroscopic image data is to be picked up, and generates injection history data corresponding to the injection. A control box (500) allocates identification data associated with the fluoroscopic image data to the injection history data, and PACS (300) stores the fluoroscopic image data and the injection history data allocated with the identification data. The injection history data is also stored in association with the fluoroscopic image data to be stored, and hence the injection history data can also be confirmed when viewing the fluoroscopic image data.

Abstract: The preset invention provides a liquid injector in which, when an injection time period and an injection rate are entered as an injection condition, a condition image having a horizontal width corresponding to the injection time period and including the injection rate as text data is displayed in a condition screen with its vertical axis representing the injection rate and its horizontal axis representing the injection time period at a vertical position in association with the injection rate and a horizontal position in association with the injection time period. The operator easily understands instinctively the injection condition from the horizontal width and the position of the condition image, and since the condition image includes the injection rate as text data, the operator can check quickly the numerical values. Thus, the liquid injector can be provided which allows simple entry and review of the injection condition.

  • Patent number: 8359087
Abstract: A liquid injector stores data of operating conditions of a liquid injection mechanism for regions to be imaged, and also stores data of schematic images of a plurality of body sections and schematic images of regions to be imaged in association with each other. The liquid injector displays the schematic images in the shape of a human body. When one of the schematic images of the corresponding regions is selected, the liquid injector reads the data of corresponding operating conditions, and controls operation of the liquid injection mechanism according to the read operating conditions. When the operator manually selects one of the schematic images of the body sections and then manually selects one of the schematic images of the corresponding regions, the liquid injector automatically injects a contrast medium into the subject under operating conditions corresponding to the selected region to be imaged.

Abstract: The medical fluid injector (100) includes injector head (100) and controller (150). The controller (150) performs processing of receiving an input of a distance from a first position to a second position of a patient, processing of receiving an input of time t1 for the contrast medium to reach the first position, and processing of receiving an input of time t2 for the contrast medium to reach the second position. The controller further calculates a flow rate of the contrast medium based on the distance from the first position to the second position and times t1 and t2, determines a moving speed of a bed of the fluoroscopic imaging apparatus in association with the flow rate, and displays the moving speed of the bed on a display of the controller.

  • Patent number: 8320999
Abstract: A leak detector sequentially emits pulse signals toward a human body at a position at which a needle is inserted, detects pulse signals reflected inside of the human body, and measures a time interval between the emission and the detection for each of the pulse signals. The leak detector then calculates the difference between the measured interval and a predetermined time interval, and generates a leak warning for notification when the difference exceeds an acceptable range. Since a swelling on the surface of the human body causes a path of the pulse signal to extend, the leak detector can detect, based on the extended signal path, that the needle has come off a blood vessel.

Abstract: When consumable part such as pressure-resistant cover (300) is installed on a chemical solution injector (100), consumption degree data is read from storage means such as an RFID chip of the consumable part and temporarily held. If the consumption degree updated according to the use of the consumable part exceeds the consumption criteria, a replacement preliminary warning is outputted and the updated consumption degree data is written in the consumption storage means (310) of the consumable part. Since the consumption degree of a consumable part installed on a mechanical device is automatically detected and a replacement preliminary warning is issue to the user at an adequate timing, continuous use of a totally consumed part, unnecessary replacement of a non-totally consumed part is prevented.
