Abstract: An assembly of interconnected containers includes a plurality of containers each of which has an upper portion connected to a lower portion by a hinge or hinges with the upper portion having a pair of elongated generally parallel upwardly open channels. The container also has a pair of generally parallel generally downwardly projecting flanges structured to engage an upwardly open channel of an adjacent container and adjacent containers have either at least one of the channels engaged by a flange of an adjacent container or at least one of its flanges engaged in a channel of an adjacent container or both. The channels are preferably open having at least one end so as to permit relative sliding removal and insertion of the containers from and into the assembly. In another embodiment, a rail and flange structure is provided to interengage adjacent containers within an assembly. A container can also be provided that has a lid portion hingably attached to the upper portion of the container.

Abstract: A tire pressure gauge located within a self-contained enclosure having a changeable numeric display at its exterior. An air inlet on the enclosure is utilized to establish pneumatic communication between the interior of an inflated tire and the interior of the enclosure. The enclosure interior is provided with electronic pressure responsive circuits operably connected to the display for presenting a numerical reading of air pressure. A power control circuit is operated by a programmed CPU, which electronically shifts it between operative and inoperative states to prolong battery life. The programmed CPU also detects maximum pressure readings, which are announced to the user by an electronically driven audible signal device within the hand-held enclosure.
Abstract: A tire pressure monitor arranged on a conventional wheel with a visual display viewable from the exterior of the wheel when it is stationary. The display typically presents a numerical indication of tire pressure. The electronic components for the display are housed within an enclosure mounted to the disk of the wheel. An air duct leads through the rim of the wheel to the enclosure for sampling interior tire pressure.
