Patents Assigned to Neotechnic Engineering Limited
  • Patent number: 4597512
Abstract: An aerosol valve (3) for dispensing metered fluid doses from an aerosol container, comprising a valve body (4) at least partially defining a metering chamber (9) and a valve stem (6) operably movable between inoperative and operative positions against a bias, the stem (6) having a seal (16) mounted thereon and arranged to seal an inlet duct (18) of the metering chamber (9) when the valve stem (6) is in its operative position. In a preferred embodiment, the valve stem (6) has first and second portions (7,8) with the seal (16) mounted upon the second portion (8). In this particular arrangement, and when the valve stem (6) is in its inoperative position, an outlet duct (12) associated with the metering chamber (9) is sealed therefrom and the inlet duct (18) is open, whereby fluid to be dispensed in a metered dose can flow or be drawn into the metering chamber (9).

  • Patent number: 4407481
Abstract: A valve assembly for a pressurized aerosol-dispensing container, in which a hollow body secured inside the container cooperates with an elongate movable valve member operative from outside the container to dispense a predetermined amount only of the liquid contents of the container for each dispensing operation, avoids problems associated with the formation of gas bubbles by providing a second hollow body as a dip-cup concentrically around the first hollow body and dividing the space between the two hollow bodies into a plurality of capillary channels which retain liquid therein. The two hollow bodies are mutually supporting and the second, outer hollow body may be of plastic material or metal. If of plastic material, it can deform on fitting to grip the inner hollow body; if of metal it can be crimped or otherwise deformed into gripping contact with the inner hollow body.

  • Patent number: 4047503
Abstract: A drinking station for poultry or the like is connected to a liquid supply pipe by a valve that is operable to supply the liquid to a plurality of enclosures within a receptacle that also contains the valve. The valve is operable by the poultry by means of a tongue extending from a valve sleeve. The valve is spring-loaded towards a closed position against a valve cap.
