Abstract: There is disclosed a method and storage media for determining the similarity between a first music collection and a second music collection. The similarity may be determined by comparing metadata associated with the first music collection and metadata associated with the second music collection. A plurality of comparison algorithms may be used including at least one of a comparison algorithm based on acoustic metadata and a comparison algorithm based on cultural metadata. The result of the plurality of comparison algorithms may be combined.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and storage media to build a music metadata library from music collections stored on a plurality of client computing devices. A music server may receive, from a first client computing device of the plurality of client computing device, a unique identifier for a track stored in the first client computing device. The music server may determine if the track is a known track corresponding to acoustic metadata that is already contained in the music metadata library. When the track is not a known track, the music server may send a message indicating the track is a new track to the first client computing device. The music server may then receive acoustic metadata for the track from the first client computing device and store the received acoustic metadata in the music metadata library.

The outer case has a receiving chamber and a fastening groove. The inner case is received in the receiving chamber such that its fastening step is inserted into the fastening groove, and has a packing groove to receive a packing. A plurality of locking guides is provided on the outer circumference of the inner case. The inner lid is rotated around a second hinge pin, thus opening or closing the inner case, and the lower end of the inner lid comes into close contact with the packing. The rail case is mounted on the outer case. The outer lid includes projections that are guided along the corresponding locking guides.

In particular, a gateway transponder and a device transponder are provided. A device transponder can be associated with a device other than a power supply located in a cable television network. The device transponder provides an efficient mechanism for exchanging control messages between a device where the transponder resides and a network operator management system. A gateway transponder can be associated with a network power supply. A gateway transponder serves as a gateway between a network operator management system and a set of device transponders. In a further feature of the present invention, a very simplified management protocol is provided that simplifies Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) messaging and reduces the size of management messages that are exchanged between a gateway transponder and a device transponder.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a device for measuring volume flow rates of liquid phase components and gas and determination their volume concentrations in a multiphase mixture along a pipeline. Measurements are executed with an ultrasonic system which includes a set of local acoustic transducers arranged in the interior of the pipeline. Each pair of an emitter and a receiver of the transducer forms a sampling volume of a medium being under control. Volume concentrations of mixture components are determined by timing of passage of acoustic pulses through the sampling volume of the medium. Volume flow rates of the mixture components are calculated by measuring phase velocities and volume concentrations in two pipeline divisions with different cross-section areas located in series at a distance one from the other in flow direction.

Abstract: An apparatus for thawing of frozen food products is provided which includes a tank member having an open top which is provided with a specially constructed cover member which insures sanitary conditions during the thawing while at the same time minimizing the quantity of liquid utilized to thaw the frozen food. The cover member is constructed so as to define a reservoir chamber for the liquid used in thawing and is further provided with a plurality of inwardly facing openings so as to spray the liquid over the frozen food in the tank. Drain means are provided so that the food being thawed is never immersed in liquid but rather has a flowing thin film of liquid over its surface. Low temperatures are utilized thereby decreasing the rate of bacterial activity within the product being thawed.
