  • Publication number: 20050098525
Abstract: Apparatus for removing a bobbin deposited by a bobbin winding device includes a traveling unit suspended from an overhead track and having a drive comprised of an electric motor and a driving roller rolling along the track. A gripping device has at least two gripper arms for grabbing a bobbin in a jaw-like manner, whereby the gripper arms are urged by a mechanical spring assembly against a bobbin surface and can be released from the bobbin surface through pneumatic or electric energy in opposition to the spring assembly. A motor-driven hoisting device connects the gripping device to the traveling unit and moves the gripping device between up and down positions, wherein the gripping device is centered in the traveling unit, when assuming the up position. Flexible supply lines are provided to feed power to the traveling unit and the gripping device and extend between one end of the track and a connection of the traveling unit.

  • Patent number: 6769854
Abstract: An arrangement for exchanging empty bobbins with full bobbins includes a creel having lateral delivery positions for holding filament-carrying bobbins for delivery of filaments to a textile machine. Disposed above the creel is a bobbin carrier which has several transport positions for bobbins and is moveably guided in a rail for travel in suspended disposition along a travel path. Transfer units are positioned on either side of the creel for transferring bobbins between the creel and the bobbin carrier and include an upright moveable along the creel and at least one support moveable along the upright and having receptacles for the bobbins. The receptacles are moveable horizontally relative to the support, wherein the delivery positions of the creel that neighbor the transfer unit are provided at a number and at a distance which corresponds to a number of and a vertical distance of the transport positions on the bobbin carrier.

  • Publication number: 20020148083
Abstract: An arrangement for brushing a fabric web moving in a traveling direction to define an upward strand and a downward strand, includes a self-contained carrier module having a motor-driven brush rotatable about a rotation axis transversely to a traveling direction of the fabric web and carrying bristles made of plastic or metal wire. A deflection roller is disposed at a lower end of the upward strand and/or downward strand of the fabric web and movable in a direction transversely to the rotation axis of the brush. Disposed above the brush are pressure-applying strips in parallel relationship thereto for loading the upward and downward strands of the fabric web, wherein the pressure-applying strip has a surface which is convex in a direction to the fabric web.

  • Patent number: 6102322
Abstract: A batch winder includes a non-driven compensating roller or dancer roller placed in a loop of a fabric web, wherein the compensating roller is displaceable transversely of its axis of rotation by means of the force of a spring. When the compensating roller is displaced, the compensating roller influences through an initiator an inductive proximity switch which is coupled through an electrical regulating unit to at least one electric motor which drives at least one of the winding rollers which extend parallel to the compensating roller. The compensating roller is integrated so as to be suspended between two swing levers at the end faces of the compensating roller, wherein the swing levers are fixedly attached to a rotary shaft extending parallel to the compensating roller.
