Patents Assigned to Neuhauser, GmbH Co.
  • Patent number: 6588580
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for the transport of workpieces (W), in particular of suspended, panel-shaped workpieces (W), such as sheets or plates. This apparatus has at least one rotationally driven conveyor belt (1, 2) for the workpieces (W) to be laid onto the latter and a holding device (3), past which the conveyor belt (1, 2) is led. The holding device (3) retains the workpieces (W) on the conveyor belt (1, 2) by means of a magnetic field passing through the latter (1, 2) and/or by generating a vacuum at suction orifices (4) of the conveyor belt (1, 2). The holding device (3) possesses at least one magnetic device (3a), with a magnetic conveyor belt (1), and at least one vacuum device (3b) separated from this and having a vacuum conveyor belt (2). The magnetic device (3a) and/or the vacuum device (3b) can be displaced with their respective conveyor belt (1, 2) relative to a common reference member (5) and can be brought into contact with the workpieces (W) to be transported.

  • Patent number: 6288623
Abstract: The invention relates to a holding apparatus for the transport of conveyed items, in particular the lifting, transporting, imbricating and stacking of ferromagnetic conveyed parts having at least two permanent magnets for generating a permanent magnetic field, at least two electrical magnet coils for generating a temporary magnetic field and compensation of the permanent magnetic field and a magnetically conductive housing. The permanent magnet is magnetized in the direction of its smallest dimension (l3) and is arranged in the direction of magnetization (M) at the rear with one pole (N, S) against the housing, forming a magnetic yoke, and at the front with the other pole (S, N) in the direction of a working clearance opposite the conveyed parts. The housing in cross section has three or more webs rising up from a baseplate and permanent magnets in each case fastened at the top in the region of the working clearance.

  • Patent number: 6158573
Abstract: A conveyor belt for the transport of workpieces, in particular for the suspended transport of platelike workpieces, such as metal sheets or boards generally comprises a belt body having suction orifices which are connected to a vacuum duct in a vacuum device. The conveyor belt together with the workpieces to be paid onto it are guided past the vacuum device in a transport plane direction and the workpieces are retained on the conveyor belt by generating a vacuum in the vacuum duct consequently at the suction orifices and with two or more rear sealing lips integrally formed on the belt body (2), the sealing lips engage into at least sealing gap in the vacuum device to seal off the vacuum duct. Each sealing lip is provided with its own sealing gap in the vacuum device and the sealing lips center themselves and, at the same time, seal off the vacuum duct and are held under prestress in the sealing gaps.
