Abstract: The package of spinning nozzles is assembled of a nozzle plate, an intermediate plate and a cover plate. The upper side of the nozzle plate is provided with a plurality of parallel grooves each having a bottom wall formed with a series of spinning nozzles. The lower side of the intermediate plate is formed with a plurality of lamellae projecting into the corresponding grooves of the nozzle plate. Each lamella has a series of throughbores which are aligned with respective spinning nozzles. The intermediate plate is formed with a transverse main distributing channel which communicates at opposite sides thereof with distributing branch channels extending between the lamellae and being delimited by the upper side of the nozzle plate. The distributing branch channels communicate with respective spinning nozzles via curved recesses formed in the lateral walls of the grooves. The bottom side of the cover plate is formed with a dome-shaped recess enclosing the inlets of the through-bores in the intermediate plate.

Abstract: A device for spooling multiple threads includes a plurality of spools situated on a spool mandrel having pirns with spreading thread guides which are displaceable on the end of the spool mandrel parallel thereto to the spreading position which corresponds to the position of the tuck slots of individual pirns. A pivotable spreading flap is provided in the device, which has guide slots for exact positioning of the threads relative to the tuck slots of individual pirns.

Abstract: A cable-laying device for synthetic fibrous cable, which places a spinning cable into individual containers spaced from each other includes a roof-shaped supporting organ which overlaps the space between two adjacent container and includes two cable-supporting plates which are pivotable relative to each other between a closed inoperative position and an open operative position. Clamping yokes for clamping the cable are positioned on the supporting plates.
Abstract: A synthetic granulate is fed into an extruder through an inclined upper part transiting into a short vertical lower part communicating with an inlet in the extruder. A down shaft of smaller diameter for feeding a stream of a dye stuff projects through the inclined part and terminates about midway in the vertical lower part. The stream of synthetic granulate forms below the outlet of the filling channel a funnel-shaped cavity onto which a stream of dosed dye stuff continuously falls. The interface of the cavity with the synthetic granules is continuously renewed and thus a uniform stream of the dye stuff is admixed to the granules.
Abstract: A device for depositing synthetic cables into individual containers comprises a tubular cable feeder feeding a cable into a non-rotating receiver which accommodates four cable-transporting organs which transport cable spirals in an axial direction. The cable transporting organs are each coupled to a main shaft of the device by a belt, a vertical drive shaft carrying a worm meshed with a worm gear supported on a horizontal shaft which carries a disc cooperating with a pressure roller for feeding a cable therebetween.
Abstract: Apparatus for severing a tow of crimped textile fibers has an outer cage and an inner cage. The inner cage has an annulus of idler rollers extending in parallelism with the common axis of the cages, and the outer cage has an annulus of elongated knives whose cutting edges spacedly surround and face the rollers. A tow of textile fibers is fed axially into the inner cage and is guided radially outwardly by an eyelet in the inner cage to enter a ring-shaped compartment between the knives and the rollers. A motor drives the inner cage or the outer cage to thereby convolute the tow in the compartment whereby the driven cage adds convolutions in the region immediately adjacent to the rollers and such convolutions cause the outer convolutions to expand toward and to be severed by the cutting edges. The severed fibers are withdrawn by a suction chamber which surrounds the outer cage.
