Abstract: A heavy duty work vehicle for rough terrain is provided with tandem axles wherein engine power is transferred equally to both the front and rear wheels of the tandem axles. A gear train having a torque divider splits any unequal torque on the front and rear wheels into two equal torques to obviate wheel lifting and loss of traction.
