Abstract: Information about selection parameters is obtained from a starting position to a destination position along an initial route. At least one alternative route is calculated by selecting a waypoint as an intermediate destination based on an initial route calculation and the selection parameters. The at least one alternative route is determined through the waypoint differs from the initial route on a specific section on which the intermediate destination lies.
Abstract: In some implementations, the radio navigation device has a data bank or may be associated with the latter, which data bank provides substantially statically stored, pre-determinable positioning data on defined, predictable regions or areas, and the data bank sends error information of the received radio navigation signals to the evaluating apparatus and/or to a user terminal dependently upon pre-defined location information relating to predictable regions or areas of deficient or lacking radio navigation signal reception.
