Patents Assigned to New Archery Products Corporation
  • Patent number: 8911311
Abstract: An expandable arrowhead having a blade-carrying body with a slot that houses at least one movably mounted blade. Each blade can be pivotally mounted about a shaft. In some embodiments, the shaft is fixed with respect to the body. In other embodiments, the shaft is movably mounted with respect to the body, for example by mounting a shaft within the slot so that the shaft moves within the slot with respect to the blade-carrying body. In some embodiments of this invention, a spring element positively holds one or more blades in a closed position or a retracted position, particularly during extreme forces encountered when launching an arrow from an archery bow, such as a compound archery bow. The spring element of this invention can be used to improve blade opening capabilities of conventional blade-opening arrowheads or broadheads.

  • Patent number: 8893700
Abstract: An archery bow stabilizer including a stabilizer body and a plurality of asymmetrical dampening extensions radially extending from the stabilizer body. The dampening extensions can be laterally offset with respect to the stabilizer body from an adjacent dampening extension and/or can include laterally extending protuberances that extend in an opposite direction from as adjacent dampening extension.

  • Patent number: 4074674
Abstract: An arrow rest for mounting on an archery bow to maintain an arrow shaft in desired position prior to release of arrow from bow. The arrow rest is spring biased in two planes, a generally horizontal plane and a generally vertical plane, or parallel to the bow. The arrow rest disclosed provides greater resistance to arrow shaft movement in the direction along the axis of the bow than resistance to movement in the horizontal plane. The arrow rest may be readily mounted in a predetermined position on the bow and provides for holding the arrow in desired position in side winds and when the bow is tilted from the vertical position.

  • Patent number: 4006901
Abstract: An arrowhead assembly having an adapter at the head end of an arrow shaft, an arrowhead body forming a hollow cylinder providing freely rotatable movement when the adapter shaft is inserted therein, multiple blades firmly mounted within the arrowhead body and having a shape exterior to the arrowhead body adapted for good aerodynamic flight characteristics and deep target penetration and a conical nose piece fastening to the adapter shaft in fixed relation to the adapter shaft allowing freely rotatable movement of the arrowhead body and blades with respect to the nose piece and adapter shaft. The arrowhead of this invention affords firm alignment with the arrow shaft and ready exchangeability of the arrowhead body including all of the blades. The arrowhead of this invention provides a structure wherein the blades can be adjusted to rotate or remain stationary with respect to the arrow shaft and nose piece, if desired.
