Abstract: A cutting blade apparatus includes a blade and a replaceable cutting edge component that is removably engageable with the blade. The cutting blade apparatus may be used in a variety of cutting applications, and in some embodiments may be useful in rotary lawn mower applications. The replaceable cutting edge components may present a profile useful in vegetation mowing and mulching applications. The cutting blade apparatus of the present invention facilitates the maintenance of high-quality cutting edges without the need to disassemble the blade from its mounting.
