    Abstract: Disclosed are a light guide plate and a backlight unit including the same. The light guide plate includes: a light guide plate including: a light output surface for outputting light to the outside; a reflective surface which is located in the opposite side of the light guide plate; and a light incident surface which is provided in at least one side surface among side surfaces connecting the light output surface and the reflective surface, and to which the light emitted from a light source is incident. A flat portion having a constant thickness is provided in a space which is spaced apart from the light incident surface, and a light input portion is formed in a space between the light incident surface and the flat portion, and a thickness of the light input portion is changed in a greater range than that of the flat portion.
