Abstract: A magazine for a staple tacker includes a base portion having a cover slidably disposed thereto, the base portion having a recessed area defined in a bottom thereof and six notches being defined each of the first end wall and second end wall thereof. At least two resilient elements disposed on the recessed area and each of which has a plurality of flexible ribs extending laterally from two opposite sides thereof such that six positioning plates are mounted across between the notches between the first end wall and the second end wall to depress the flexible ribs with a pin movably extending through a slot defined in each of the positioning plates. A control member having a receiving section and a pressing section extends from the second end wall and is pushed by an end cap of the cover when the cover is slidably mounted to the base portion such that the pressing section pressing the pin is moved away from the pin to allow the pin to be raised toward the cover within the receiving section by the flexible ribs.

Abstract: A magazine of a staple tacker includes a base plate and a cover slidably engaged to the base plate, the base plate having a stop disposed to an inner side thereof, the cover having a ridge extending from an outer surface thereof and an actuator pivotally mounted to the ridge with a spring biasedly disposed between the actuator and the ridge, the actuator having two side plates which extend through corresponding slots defined in the cover to contact the stop, a cap member having an open end for the base plate inserted therethrough and the cover fixedly connected to the cap member such that the cover is positioned relative to the base plate when the two side plates are limited by the stop, a wing portion extending perpendicularly from the cap member and located beside the tail such that the tail can be prevented from being unintentionally pushed.

Abstract: A cassette assembly for a stapling mechanism includes a cassette secured to the nose piece of the stapling mechanism and having a number of slots formed in one side for retaining nails. The cassette includes a groove and one or more notches formed in the bottom for engaging with a bar and the projections of the bar so as to secure the bar in place. The bar includes a longitudinal flange extended upward from one side for engaging with and for stably retaining the nails so as to prevent the bar from being easily worn out and so as to increase a working life of the cassette.
