Abstract: A device for transmitting current between two terminals of a cassette (K) between which at least one ribbon cable is arranged that extends in turns. The cassette includes a fixed stator and a rotatable rotor between which the ribbon cable is positioned. One of the two terminals is movable relative to the other. The ribbon cable at its ends is located in the area of the terminals. It is brought out of the cassette at the terminals for the connection of continuing cables (17). At least two plate-shaped contact carriers (18,19) are mounted to the outside of the stator of the cassette. The conductors of the ribbon cable on the one hand and the conductors of a continuing cable on the other hand can be connected to the contact carriers. The contact carriers are connected with one another by elastic snap-in elements to form a unit.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a cable guide, in particular for an optical or electrical cable for telecommunications, the guide comprising a cylindrical portion for coming into abutment via one of its ends against a sealing gasket for mounting at the inlet to a sealed box for protecting splices and containing a gas under pressure in a tubular passage secured to the box, and being designed via its opposite end to be subjected to thrust from a nut screwed onto said tubular passage. This portion is extended away from the box by at least one radially deformable frustoconical tongue having a clamping portion at its end for clamping onto the periphery of the cable.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a sealing gasket for cables, in particular optical or electrical telecommunications cables, for mounting in an inlet of a sealer box for protecting splices and containing a gas under pressure, the gasket being mounted in a tubular passage secured to the box and comprising at least one tubular cylindrical portion of constant diameter having an inner sealing portion connected thereto to bear against the periphery of the cable and to be placed towards the inside of said box. The inner sealing portion is constituted by a tubular frustoconical portion connected to the end of said cylindrical portion and whose smaller diameter end presents an orifice of diameter smaller than the diameter of the cables to be mounted.
Abstract: An electric installation cable in which the insulated wires forming the core and serving to conduct electricity are bound together as one unit. For the simultaneous, undisturbed utilization of the cable for high frequency signals, the unit is made up of 4 cores (A) bound together to form a star-quad. A shield (3) made up of a plastic film (8) coated on both sides with aluminum is arranged over the cores (A). Tinned copper wires (4) are wrapped around the shield (3) to function as a ground wire (4) and a coat (5) of insulation material is arranged around the tinned copper wires (4).
Abstract: The composition includes a chlorinated polyolefin grafted by an amino-silane to enable it to be cured in air. The composition contains a basic mixture including, for 100 parts by weight of said chlorinated polyolefin, 100 to 250 parts of a filler containing moisture and an agent for treating said filler, and said amino-silane is grafted to said chlorinated polyolefin of said basic mixture during extrusion of the composition. The composition is useful in insulating and sheathing cables.
