Abstract: In a glove manufacturing device, a glove insert with thermoplastic adhesive applied on the outer side is fixed on a glove holding member in a state where it has been inserted into the inner side of the outer material of the glove. The glove insert is then expanded by way of a gas injection means, and the outer material of the glove and the glove insert are bonded. The glove holding member is fixed on the turntable and sent to a heating furnace by this rotating.
Abstract: A machine for waterproofing semimanufactured products including footwear, clothing items, and accessories. The machine has a pressing device with at least one pair of deformable plates that have a hollow body. The pressing surface is elastic and suitable for being urged outwards by a fluid pressure. At least one of the deformable plates is fixed in a mobile manner to a support structure for opening or closing the pressing device around at least one shaped support which is provided with transport means to and from the pressing device and is suitable for supporting the semimanufactured product during the pressing with at least one waterproofing sheath.
Abstract: A semimanufactured product including footwear, clothing items and accessories, which has a three-dimensional conformation with at least one inner surface and one outer surface. At least one waterproofing sheath entirely or partially covers the inner surface of the semimanufactured product, adheres to the inner surface by means of at least one glue layer and includes at least one piece of semi-permeable membrane. The at least one piece of semi-permeable membrane is cut with a size of the inner surface of the semimanufactured product and is folded so as to superimpose two edges which are welded to form at least one strip and to give the waterproofing sheath a three-dimensional conformation similar to the semimanufactured product.

Abstract: Process for manufacturing gloves (2) and the like, which comprises the following operating steps:—inserting a lining (3) into a glove (2), wherein glue is arranged between the glove (2) and the lining (3);—inserting a plug (1) in the zone of the wrist of the glove (2) provided with the lining (3);—pumping a fluid into the lining (3) for pressing it from the inside against the inner surface of the glove (2). Abstract: An article of waterproof footwear is provided which contains a sole (1) joined to an insole (2) and to a welt (3) which encloses the lower edge of an upper (4), the inner surface of which is lined by a preferably semi-permeable membrane (6). The lower edge of the membrane is glued to a waterproof tape (7) joined to the insole (2). The welt (3) is preferably made in a single piece of plastic or rubber material with the sole (1). Abstract: A process for waterproofing leather (1) includes pressing on the internal surface of the leather (1) at least one semi-permeable membrane (2) whose surface contacting the leather (1) is provided with a glue pattern. The glue pattern of the semi-permeable membrane (2) is preferably thermoadhesive, and therefore the pressing of the membrane on the leather (1) is preferably a hot pressing.
