Abstract: Apparatus for making a cage having a number of peripheral and elongate components, and a wrapping component. The apparatus includes an elongate support frame, a mechanism for rotating the cage; a mechanism for dispensing the wrapping component onto the cage; a first carrier mounted on the frame for holding at least one peripheral component; and a second carrier mounted on the frame for holding at least one peripheral component, including a mechanism for adjusting the position of the second carrier on the frame relative to the position of the first carrier.
