Abstract: A fixture having a lateral width which is larger than an interval between a couple of neighboring studs is to be fixedly attached to the neighboring studs so as to bridge the couple of neighboring studs, when a joint portion between the vertical sides of neighboring siding boards arranged horizontally does not coincide with the position of any of said studs, thereby fastening the joint portion of a couple of neighboring siding boards by making use of the second fixture.

Abstract: An external corner formative member which comprises an angled corner plate portion, and a pair of groove portions formed on the opposite sides of the corner plate, respectively, for receiving a side edge portion of a building board, wherein at least one rib which is adapted to be contacted with the building board so as to function as a weir for preventing rain water from penetrating (or for receiving the kinetic energy of rain water) is projected from the bottom of the groove portions. A broad space is formed between the rib and a back plate portion of the groove so as to interrupt the flow of rain water running toward the interior of building frame. A ridge functioning as a weir may be formed on the back plate portion of the groove portion.

Abstract: A fastening member for the vertical board sidings, which comprises a flat substrate; first and second upright portions formed at the upper and lower end portions of the flat substrate, respectively and extending in the horizontal direction; a third upright portion formed along a longitudinal direction of the flat substrate; a locking portion formed along a distal end of the third upright portion; and a slot formed in the substrate and extending laterally from one side to the other of the substrate; wherein the siding boards are adapted to be fastened between distal ends of the first and second upright portions and the locking portion formed along a distal end of the third upright portion.

Abstract: A fastening member for the vertical board siding, which comprises; a main metal fitting comprising a flat substrate, first and second upright portions formed at the upper and lower end portions of the flat substrate, respectively and extending in the horizontal direction, a third upright portion formed along the longitudinal direction of the flat substrate, and an engaging portion formed at a distal end of the third upright portion; and an auxiliary metal fitting adapted to be detachably engaged with the main metal fitting and comprises a first horizontal portion adapted to be placed on the second upright portion of the main metal fitting, and a second horizontal portion adapted to support a lower end portion of the siding board to be fastened.
